My crown action feels “rough”, what does this mean?

Vaer Watches Updated by Vaer Watches

A rough crown action is typically caused by extra residue on the case tube. This rough feeling should quickly loosen up with wear.

A couple of easy (but sort of weird) solutions to this issue:

  1. Use dental floss to "clear" the threads of the case tube.
  2. Rub a pencil on the case tube - the graphite is actually like a lubricant for the threads.

How did we do?

My watch case scratched - is this normal?

If I order from outside the United States, will there be additional taxes or tariffs?
