What is the difference between the lined and unlined leather straps?

Vaer Watches Updated by Vaer Watches

The main difference, reflected in the different prices, is a difference in fit and finish.

Both the lined and unlined straps are made from Horween leather. Our two-piece premium lined leather strap is handmade in the USA. We use hand-stitched construction to combine a Horween top leather with a supple leather lining. The edges are burnished and hand-painted. A 20mm lug width tapers to 18mm at the buckle.

This is our most robust, premium leather strap. Our two-piece unlined leather strap is handmade in the USA. We leverage a single strip of 5/6oz Horween Hide, incorporating quick-release spring bars and hand-stitched construction. A 20mm lug width tapers to 18mm at the buckle. This is our thinner, lighter strap, as there is only 1 layer of leather with no lining.
